Mariah Carey showcased her stylish flair on Thursday evening while out in Aspen, Colorado:

The iconic 55-year-old singer, who recently concluded her Christmas Time tour, donned a light-hued knit dress paired with coordinating leggings. As a mother of two, sharing 13-year-old fraternal twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon, she completed her look with a vibrant apple-red jacket featuring four front pockets.  To enhance her outfit, she opted for brown suede knee-high boots with a heel. 

The songstress also accessorized with retro-inspired red aviator sunglasses.  Her signature blonde hair was elegantly styled in a casual updo, with long strands framing her face. Carey's complexion appeared radiant beneath her shades, and she finished her makeup with a glossy nude lip. On the same day, the pop star took to Instagram to share a festive video of her attempting to wrap a gift. Dressed in a cozy white robe, she sat in front of a beautifully adorned Christmas tree, engaging her online audience. 

We are wrapping some gifts, Mariah announced at the start of the clip, showcasing a pair of faux fur white earmuffs. 

This is really, really not my thing. I don't want to be the one to have to do this, she remarked while struggling to wrap the item. 

I'll buy the gifts, no problem — not because I think I'm above gift wrapping, but because I'm just not good at it, she clarified. 

The entertainer later chuckled, reiterating, "I do not want to be doing this," and added, "And the scissors are huge!
