David Moyes is currently the frontrunner to become the next Everton manager, with Sky Bet listing him as a strong favorite at 1/5. According to Sky Bet, Moyes is the clear choice for the position, indicating a potential return to the club he previously managed.

Moyes enjoyed a successful spell at Everton from 2002 to 2013, leading the team to the Champions League qualifying rounds in 2005 and reaching the FA Cup final in 2009. Under his leadership, Everton consistently ranked in the top eight of the Premier League.

His chances of securing a new role have been bolstered by West Ham's difficulties since his exit at the end of last season. During his five-year tenure at West Ham, the club finished in the top half of the table three times and won the Europa Conference League, along with a semi-final appearance in the Europa League. In contrast, West Ham is currently struggling this season, sitting in 14th place with only six wins from 20 matches.

The second favorite for the Everton managerial position is Jose Mourinho, the former manager of Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham, who is priced at 6/1. Mourinho has been linked with a return to the Premier League for some time, although his relationship with the Friedkin family, owners of Roma, has been strained. After being dismissed by Roma last year, Mourinho criticized the new Everton owner for lacking football knowledge. If personal differences can be set aside, Mourinho's return to the Premier League would certainly attract attention.
